FACULTY & STAFF

Our faculty and staff are the backbone of our temple of education. They are the pillars on whose shoulders the responsibility of entire framework relies. The teacher to student ratio is strictly adhered at 1:20, which obviously is enormously better than other popular schools. The purpose of having smaller classroom strengths is to cater to the needs of each child with more care and affection. Our teachers are highly trained professionals with adequate teaching experience and the supporting staff can be easily found selflessly concerned for the students of GVA.

We maintain high standards of quality when it comes to recruitment and training of our team. The recruitment hence is taken up by the Board of Directors and each application is thoroughly scrutinized by them. The Five-Step Recruitment process lets us filter in the best. Once recruited, they go through a vigorous Pre-Job Training. The Faculty also goes through a compulsory Faculty Training Programme every year, prior to the start of the session. This helps them to keep up with the global best education practices that being implemented across the world. This programme primarily prepares them each year for the upcoming session as to how to teach the students in a structured manner as guided by our international education consultants.

GVA’s motto A secure home away from home is a value inculcated in each one of the faculty and staff members. The environment is extremely conducive for children to feel at home. Our consultants are the brain of this value system. They are involved in the decision making processes from around the world. Canada, United States of America, United Kingdom, Australia and France are a few countries where our external consultants are currently based. They monitor and contribute some of the world’s best education practices, bringing us at par with the current International education standards.

For example, Dr. Katarzyna Pisanski who is a known face in the field of Psychology on the world map because of her contributions, especially in the area of Mammal Vocal Communication and Cognition Research, is one of our honorable consultants who have been extremely fundamental in designing courses. She travels once a year to conduct the Academic Council meeting at GVA, despite of her busy schedule working simultaneously in Poland, United Kingdom and Canada.
Dr. Kuldeep K. Chikna (based out of Toronto, Canada) has been contributing to further the best practices being followed world over and especially in Canada. He visits the campus at least twice a year, though he is available 24×7 to serve the students of Green Valley Academy. Mr. Chikna’s experience in the field of education is explicit and diverse.
Similarly, Dr. Vijay Rana, who has served the British Broadcasting Network also popularly known as BBC London, is based out of London, United Kingdom and has been another major contributor in terms of bringing the best practices from England. Mr. M.P.Singh  (Olympian and Coach for the Indian National Hockey Team), Mr. Arjun Vajpai (Arjuna Awardee & holder of multiple world records), Mr. Ajay Kanwar (Coach for the Indian badminton Team), Mr. Anbarasan (BBC, Asia Head),  Ms. Gurpreet Dogra (Philanthropist and India Head for a major Telecom Firm) and Mr. H.P.
