Green Valley Academy celebrates 14th February or famously known as Valentines Day with much excitement, as the day of the launch of its Annual Scholarship Scheme dedicated to girls; Prem Award for Girl’s Education (PAGE).

About the PAGE Scholarship Scheme

The occasion marks the first commemoration of one of GVA’s Founding Members Ms. Prem Lata Sharma, who had begun the school two decades ago. Ms Prem Sharma was a strong and resilient single woman, who led her life and our institution, by sheer example. Green Valley Academy is truly grateful for the noble work she has done for the betterment of women and children in the education and healthcare sectors.

The PAGE Scholarship is awarded to extraordinary girl students every year. Apart from major Fee Waivers and Public recognition, the award entails special provisions for students such as special counselling and guidance programmes.

Our aim is to continuously make a difference in the area of women empowerment in this region and the country. Green Valley Academy’s schemes like PAGE Scholarships and pre-existing programmes like Battle for Inclusive Growth (BIG) and Oxford Programme for Education in Remote Areas (OPERA Plan) are small steps in the country’s vision for education development and women empowerment.
